Santander heads feature on Interactive wall

    Date: 17th May 2011

Eight Heads of the banking giant Santander were filmed in a temporary green screen studio set up at their London headquarters by Videotile recently. The objective was to capture their responses to a question and answer session that was produced as a life size interactive display at their annual national employee conference. The executives all appeared simultaneously on eight vertical HD back projection screens and were available to be accessed by employees as part of an 'interactive wall'. The back projected 'life-size' long shots of each executive allowed delegates to interact with them by posing a question from a set of predetermined questions. The selected executive then responded to the employee in life size.

The success of the project was attributed considerably to the skill and persistence of the Videotile's director of video production that coached the Santander executives to deliver natural, believable and competent answers that were captured in the studio sessions. Santander expressed real satisfaction about the way that Videotile were able to painlessly extract excellent performances form all of the contributors.

To maximise the resolution of the large images the Panasonic P2 HD camera was rotated 90 degrees to optimise the vertical format of the display.
