An innovative Padiham firm is bringing websites to life with an exiting new brand of technology.
Bosses of VideoTile, based in whalley road, visited the house of commons last week to watch the launch of the Governments new select committees websites which use their New Media Production Service.
The company specialises in putting live presenters on websites adding an extra dimension to peoples web pages.
They were invited to the event, which was launched by former home secretary Jack Straw, and heads of select committees.
“The launch was a great success,” said Mr Andrew Hines, owner of the company. “There were around 100 people at the event and it was a great experience. The live presenter adds a real human touch to a website and is rapidly being adopted nationally by a broad cross section of people in commerce, industry and government. It is a natural progression for anyone wishing to grab the attention of their website visitors and deliver personality and key information in a new and memorable way.”
The technology has already been adopted by Burnley MP Mrs Kitty Ussher who now appears at the top of her website talking to visitors.
“Its fantastic to have been recognised at this level,” said Mr Hines, speaking after the visit to the palace of Westminster. “We’ve done it now for for five of the select committees and we are going to be going back down there to do the other 5 select committees. The idea is to have this type of technology on every single MP’s website across the country within time.
