New BlackBerry 6 Teaser Video Released, OS Launch Delayed

After a much anticipated wait, Blackberry has further delayed the launch of its new operation system BlackBerry OS 6.0. The forecasting indicated new devices may launch as early as June 2010, but so far no BlackBerry 6 platformed devices have seen the light of day.

For the promotional purpose and to keep the hype up, an ‘official’ teaser video has been launched by RIM (Research In Motion) featuring all the new aspects of the Blackberry 6 platform. In the promotional video viewers can see that the user interface has been revamped, what they call a Fluid Interface, along with a new enhanced Media Interface. The touch UI facility which allows people to pinch and zoom is a must in today’s mobile phone world and is still prominent on the Blackberry phone.

The Simultaneous Posting feature comes in super handy for those people who regularly visit social networking sites, allowing people to post on several social networking platforms at once. These social feeds will allow you to track your favourite website updates, which are pretty useful and comes with an easy to manage interface.

The Blackberry Messenger default messenger is also being revamped with many more features and has become an attractive as well as an instant messaging environment.

Blackberry 6 users will also have an enriched web browsing experience complete with a web browser which has been graced with WebKit rendering support.
